If you give us an example of how a message is sent, that would speed up the adding process. It's probably something like 2125551212@uscellular.com.

US Cellular is now added. Anyone else have one to add? I just found a longer list.

How can we find out if a network can be added? I would suggest cyta mobile vodafone from Cyprus and English networks such as o2, orange, tmobile, vodafone etc.

Hi, when you send a message, can you read replies (if any) to your text message?

Is it possible to get text messages sent to other countries? like Australia?

Post 9 by Chris N (I just keep on posting!) on Thursday, 10-Jan-2008 4:00:35

Replies should go back to your phone, depending on how the provider is configured.

whenever I have used it, replies go to my email.

Basically, many phone providers have an Email address where text messages can be sent. Most often, it is number@provider.com replacing number with a phone number. So, we basically need that address and then we can add a provider.

Hello there.
I use to work as the technical lead for a company called Sybase 365 formaly known as Mobile 365. They are basically an SMS agrigator. I.e, take Zonebbs as a content providor, they will take messages from Zonebbs and route them to any operator. All you need to do is provide the number in international format. example: +14042538798. They have global reach so you wouldn't have to worry about any barriors like that. Speak to them and see what they can do. I'm not with them and we didn't part on the best of terms so I cant really help you, but their a great company from the perspective of a customer and They've been known to help out non-profit set ups.

What do you mean by routing them to an operator? Can you explain how this works? I'm curious.
Thanks,
John
